Hello Forest Perfection!!!

The Mt. Airy Forest...a whole lot of nature smack dab in the middle of the city!

I managed to live in Cincinnati for almost seven years before I found this gorgeous place. Just off Colerain Ave sits the serine Mt. Airy Forest. With its well-kept playground areas, amazing picnic spots, gorgeous trails, and even a handicap accessible tree house to explore it's our go to for a day surrounded by nature!

Our standard loop is about two-miles long. Even though it has a decent amount of hills, we all made it through without feeling like passing out. I would rate most of their trails as moderate in difficulty due to terrain. During the Summer the trees are so filled in it blocks out the rest of the world. During the fall the trees are filled with oranges, reds, and yellows that will take your breath away. So no matter the season if you're looking for a gorgeous day filled with hikes and beauty you've got to stop by.
